The Hideout Lounge

Our first experience of the Hideout Lounge was a Gourmet Evening. We had heard lots of good accounts over the last couple of years, Breakfasts, Lunches, Cakes and the many Burger and Steak Nights. We had the opportunity to attend their first Gourmet Evening, and we were not disappointed. It was truly Amazing. Quality and Quantity was outstanding. We are Foodies through and through and have experienced several of the Top 50 Restaurants from around the world. And without a doubt this Gourmet Evening was one that we will not forget. Staff and Service were spot on. Very much look forward to the next one. In the meantime, we must sample one or two of the Breakfast options. Highly Recommend!

A must visit. Locally sourced produce all made in house including wide selection of cakes. Greeted and seated swiftly. Friendly staff. Clean and fresh interior. We had flat whites, two breakfast, 4 cakes and two bottles or organic lemonade. The place was busy but not crowded. Dogs are welcome. It was all delicious we would highly recommend as a pit stop when travelling. Lunch menu looked just as good as breakfast menu. The coffee was served a little on the hotter side than I would prefer but that is just personal preference. Coffee is local too very delicious Superb place lots of awards which are well deserved

What an absolute gem. Met friends for breakfast. A fantastic selection, variety of freshly cooked meals. I had the Chickha wah which isn’t my usual meal but it was amazing. Drinks were piping hot, with friendly service. Definitely worth a visit. We didn’t book but noticed a number of tables were booked for lunch so may be worth checking before travelling.

I just love this place! Amazing chocolate afternoon tea over Easter, food was very creative and tasty. Every time I visit the lounge it is really busy as it's so popular! Staff are very friendly and welcoming!

We have recently been introduced to this place by my son who lives in Charfield. We've eaten here now 3 times and each time has been excellent. As a foodie and a cook I am very harsh on places to eat out if I feel I can do better at home. But today was exceptional!!! I always rate a place by it's food as a number 1 and the katsu chicken wrap was soooooo good. It was a lunchtime special so I guess it's not on all the time. Thank you guys for keeping the menu small and delivering it very well.

Very nice place to chill out and enjoy some top quality food. Staff were awesome and the atmosphere very relaxed. Will definitely go again.

Found the Hideout on Google Maps looking for somewhere for lunch on the way from Slimbridge to Bristol. So glad we found it a lovely quirky cafe with excellent food. Had sandwiches but they were so packed with good quality local ingredients it felt like we had eaten so much more. Highly recommended if in the area.

Not really a cafe, more bistro tucked aware on an industrial estate. Not particularly cheap, but absolutely fab food worth every penny. Had the pulled brisket & smoked cheese sandwich with an iced coffee.
